Why post a stock tip on a tribe devoted to alternative economics?

It's called spam. By the people who brought you inflation and depression. Now you can be part of a stock bump to make other people rich.

damn, lighten up people. according to the american heritage dictionary, spam is:

          n. Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail.

What i posted offers no commercial value to me. i guess i didnt get the purpose of this uptight group. peace out

Well Shawn, if that's the case, sorry. We have no way to tell. And 3 members out of 676 doesn't really make this an "up-tight" group. You've gone into a group of big time model railroaders to tell them about the most adorable mauve knitting yarn available at a cheap price. Or something like that. Get it?

Hi, I think that could be spam but if he hasn't any kind of "profit" or commercial relation with the site, then it seems an informative post or something like that.

Oh right and we know that because this tribe newbie told us so.

Hummm. How about... guh... brain. How about an economy based on network effects? The more you tell your friends about it, the more each unit is worth.

      Oh shit, thats MySpace.
