Re: someone told me my previous post is considered spam, apologies if it looks that way
Fri, May 5, 2006 - 8:20 AMMaybe. But it *is* spam. At least, it doesn't seem to be particularly about alternative money or economics. So it's off-topic.
I'll make you a deal. Write something *interesting* about how this kind of system works (eg. what are the social effects, how it challenges the orthodoxy of traditional sales techniques, or how the wealth gets distributed around the pyramid) as a further comment, and I'll leave the thread up. Otherwise, it's gone. :-) -

Mon, May 8, 2006 - 3:21 AMI usually find that anything that has the word "biz" in it should be considered suspect ;) -

Re: someone told me my previous post is considered spam, apologies if it looks that way
Fri, June 30, 2006 - 1:31 AMI'm confused. This is supposed to be a money and investing tribe. What's the point if you can't talk about money, and invite others to help you (and them) attain your financial and other life goals?
I think you are on the right path, kid, though maybe not in the right place. -

Re: someone told me my previous post is considered spam, apologies if it looks that way
Sat, July 1, 2006 - 4:25 AMIt's a tribe about the *theory* of money.
It's on-topic to talk about how to make money if you have some interesting, *general* ideas about it. It's not necessarily interesting (in the discussion threads) to simply say "join me in this scheme".
Compare a tribe about automobiles that wouldn't necessarily let you start threads selling your car.
In practice, I've been pretty lenient / lazy about this. But I may still delete that post. Tribes already allow a nice distinction between discussion threads and announcements. It would be better to put things that might be construed as adverts as announcements.
